The role is to drive strategic account growth through specification development, business development, and long-term customer engagement. This individual will be responsible for developing and expanding key customer relationships while identifying opportunities to strengthen Hilti’s market presence and commercial impact.
- Serve as primary commercial and technical interface for assigned offshore EPCs (SBM, MODEC, YINSON, TechnipFMC, Saipem) and owners, driving sales of Modular Support Systems and Cable Transit solutions on FPSO/FLNG projects.
- Develop and execute account strategies to increase share of wallet and secure specifications for modular systems and cable transits on target projects.
- Build organizational maps and maintain senior relationships with C-level and technical decision-makers at EPCs and owners.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and global offshore teams. Lead capture teams and coordinate Hilti internal resources.
- Provide market intelligence on offshore trends and competitor activity to segment team; adjust strategies based on external pain points.
- 25%~50% traveling in China expected for engaging key Offshore EPCs and/or yards
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- 5+ years in offshore Oil & Gas – ideally from SBM, MODEC, YINSON, TechnipFMC, Saipem, or similar EPCs.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing without authority.
- Ability to manage C-level relationships and complex stakeholders.
- Solid project management skills for multi-country complexity.
- High autonomy, ownership, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Technical understanding of key applications (after internal trainings) – able to answer 80% of customer questions without back-office support.
