Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the scientific team to design experimental protocols for pathway validation and target identification, including the development of in vitro and in vivo bioassays.
- Conduct experimental operations, interpret and validate research results, and present data findings to the scientific team and executive management.
- Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary scientists and research associates to drive the achievement of the company’s R&D strategic objectives.
- Establish and manage external research collaborations with academic institutions and commercial partners, and maintain long-term cooperative relationships.
Basic Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent academic degree in Biological Sciences, Bioengineering or related disciplines, with 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience in academic, pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
- Demonstrated track record of working effectively with high-caliber technical teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and technology-driven environment.
- Professional background as an immunologist with a research focus on target discovery and hands-on experience in immuno-oncology research; proficient in experimental techniques, particularly bioassay development (in vitro & in vivo models) and cellular & molecular immunology; expert-level skills in multi-color flow cytometry for immune cell phenotyping, tissue isolation technologies and associated functional assays.
- Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with proven experience in delivering high-complexity technical projects and collaborating with senior technical professionals; highly adaptable to evolving technical and business opportunities, and able to meet ambitious project deliverables under challenging timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner.
Key Requirements
- PhD or above, with a strong professional background in immuno-oncology; 4+ years of industrial work experience, and proven experience as a Project Lead (PL) for end-to-end multi-specific antibody (including bispecific antibody) projects, with a track record of advancing projects from initiation to at least the IND application stage.
- Possess in-depth insights and unique perspectives on immunotherapy and its industrial development, with forward-looking vision in project initiation and technical planning.
- Exceptional learning agility and cross-team collaboration capabilities, with strong team management and project coordination skills.
