We are an international recruitment consultancy working on behalf of a European client to identify and evaluate China-based technical sourcing specialists. We are looking for a freelance Chinese HR partner to run this end-to-end recruitment process independently, from job campaigns all the way to structured candidate reporting.
This is not a typical HR admin role. We need someone who takes full ownership, works with precision, and delivers without being chased.
What You Will Do
- Write and post compelling job campaigns in Mandarin on major Chinese recruitment platforms
- Actively push campaigns using each platform's native features to maximize reach and attract quality candidates
- Screen incoming CVs against defined criteria independently
- Conduct structured candidate interviews in both English and Mandarin
- Write clear, professional candidate reports in English summarizing background, strengths, and overall fit- Deliver reports to our team consistently and on time, no follow-up neededYou Are the Right Fit If You
- Are a native Mandarin speaker who genuinely understands how to write job postings that attract Chinese professionals, not just translate English JDs word for word
- Have hands-on experience with Chinese job platforms such as Boss直聘, 51job, Liepin, or Zhaopin, and understand how each platform works, how to write postings that get responses, and how to actively engage candidates through each platform's native outreach features
- Understand the nuances of Chinese recruitment culture, how to frame a role, what motivates Chinese professionals to apply, and how to communicate in a way that resonates locally
- Respond to messages quickly and proactively update without being asked
- Can manage the full recruitment cycle independently from start to finish
- Write professional English reports that are clean, structured, and easy to read
Requirements
- Chinese national with active access to Chinese job platforms
- Open to worldwide candidates as long as fluent Chinese and English and have recruiter's background
- Native Mandarin speaker, essential for effective candidate engagement
- Strong English for conducting interviews and written reporting
- Background in HR, recruitment, or talent sourcing, experience with technical roles is a strong plus
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, project-based setup
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistently meets deadlines
