Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is accountable for:
Prepare and review Accounts Payable transactions by processing, verifying, reconciling invoices and payment requests for proper authorization
Reconcile and track all processed Accounts Payable transactions by verifying entries and comparing system report
Work with sized AP team around 12 teammates of +500 trust accounts and corporate accounts, process large no. of AP transactions by system
Review and monitor the ageing of creditors and ensure payments are affected on time
Manage the company’s Accounts Payable cycle to ensure a smooth daily operation
Timely management on payment release and execution of proper internal control
Cash management includes cash flow forecast, fund transfer, credit control and maintain close relationship with external banking partners
Harmonized coordination with different internal or external stakeholders regarding payment cycle affairs
Backup to the team leader on leading sized A/P team
Review the operational procedure for potential enhancement or streamlining to achieve efficiency gain
Support other ad-hoc business assignments as required, including new software implementation
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Qualified Accountant, or finalists from equivalent professional qualification
4-8 years' working experience in Accounting / Auditing / Finance with a supervisory role is definite advantage
Prior experience in Accounts Payable cycle is a must; prior experience in handling treasury and Document Management System (DMS) will be an advantage
Solid analytical skills, responsible, detail conscious and able to work under pressure and lead the team to meet tight deadlines
Presentable with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficiency in using PC operation, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiar with accounting ERP application
Cooperative team player support to the team to achieve departmental goal
