Senior Project Engineer – System Simulation (Mechanical)
Position Overview
Mainly responsible for multi-body dynamics simulation modeling and load mathematical modeling of mechanical systems. Collaborate with other teams to complete system-level integration, including the development and integration of degradation models and control algorithms for key components such as motors, batteries, and inverters.
Main Responsibilities
- Establish multi-body dynamics simulation models for mechanical systems to support product development and design optimization.
- Communicate closely with the product team to understand product requirements and develop and refine mathematical models of loads.
- Be familiar with one-dimensional degradation models of key subsystems such as motors, batteries, and inverters.
- Integrate various models (multi-body dynamics, load, degradation, etc.) at the system level to achieve collaborative simulation and validation of the overall system.
- Proficient in using system-level simulation platforms such as Ansys Twin Builder for modeling, and capable of benchmarking, calibrating, and optimizing models against experimental data.
- Participate in model development, simulation process standardization, and the preparation of related technical documentation.
- Capable of basic or advanced programming (such as Python, C/C++, etc.) to automate and extend the simulation toolchain.
- Stay abreast of industry-leading technologies, continuously improve system simulation capabilities, and provide technical support for product innovation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, with expertise in multi-body dynamics modeling and simulation of mechanical systems, and familiarity with mainstream simulation software (such as Ansys Twin Builder, Simscape, etc.).
- Strong mathematical modeling skills, capable of developing load models based on real-world operating conditions.
- System integration capability, able to couple multiple models and perform holistic simulations.
- Programming skills, able to perform secondary development or automate simulation processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Basic proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) for daily work communication.
