You are responsible for the commercialization of Globachem’s own developed innovative crop protection products in the different South-East Asian countries with an initial focus on China.
You provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
You are able to build a strong technical basis and understanding about our innovations and to transform your technical knowledge in compelling use recommendations to support a quick and convincing adoption in the market.
You lead pre-launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
You are well connected with a solid network of distributors, CRO’s, advisors and industry influencers in at least China and in a second phase in countries like Thailand and Vietnam. You are capable to build a similar network in other South-Asian countries.
You coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
You represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
Together with the responsible sales manager, you select the distribution partners and set pricing.
You work closely with your colleagues from Sales & Marketing, and also across other departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain.

You are part of the Sales & Marketing department and report to the Business Development Manager at our Headquarters in Belgium.

You have a degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering or any related field.
You have at least 7 years of experience in a commercial role in crop protection and you have experience in the launching of new products.
You are fluent in Chinese (native level) and English. Other languages are a plus.
You are based in China and are flexible to travel frequently to other South-Asian countries or to the headquarters in Belgium.
You are a strong communicator and have excellent negotiation skills.
You apply a strategic and commercial approach in managing your projects.
You are a hands-on self-starter driven by innovation.
You are a teamplayer with a growth mindset.
