The core mission is to support go-to-market success through deep system understanding of SSCB architectures and scalable deployment of technical solutions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
-
Understand SSCB system architecture, system-level requirements, and key specifications including fault interruption, short-circuit protection, and coordination with upstream/downstream protection devices
-
Develop and deliver application-level technical contents and collaterals for SSCB, including system evaluation and Infineon solution evaluation
-
Support design-in / design-win activities with system-level proposals and customer engagement via regional teams
-
Align technical solutions between global teams and regional teams to enable scalable deployment
-
Provide structured technical input to G2M strategies for SSCB systems
-
Consolidate technical requirements from regional SSCB projects to drive product and solution improvements
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline
-
Minimum 3+ years of experience in power electronics industry, with application background that can be reasonably extended to SSCB or related protection / circuit breaker systems
-
Strong understanding of SSCB system architecture, fault protection principles, and power semiconductor selection (SiC, IGBTs, MOSFETs) in protection applications is a plus
-
Proven experience in developing application-level technical contents and collaterals (evaluation reports, solution guides, reference designs)
-
Good knowledge of power devices (SiC, IGBTs, MOSFETs) across a broad range of power electronics applications, combined with deep technical knowhow and hands on experience in areas such as loss calculation, thermal evaluation, switching behavior, and SOA
-
Familiarity with Infineon power products and solutions is a strong plus
