Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job): The Digital & Marketing Data Product Manager will drive L'Oréal's data-driven decision-making by delivering advanced analytical products across global markets and brands. Focusing on media, advocacy, and influencer data, this role will provide crucial insights to answer key business questions, such as optimizing consumer acquisition and maximizing media investment ROI. This highly collaborative position requires close partnership with the Chief Digital & Marketing Officer, IT teams, and market users to ensure consumer-centric strategies are at the forefront of our organization. Role & Responsibilities: Strategic Demand Collection & Translation: Proactively engage with global, markets and brands to deeply understand their evolving business demands for consumer and media insights.
Translate these complex requirements into clear, actionable data product specifications, ensuring alignment with L'Oréal's strategic objectives for consumer-centric decision-making. Advanced Media Performance Methodology: Lead the decoding, definition, and standardization of media performance (including advocacy & influencer) tracking methodologies across diverse platforms. Leverage advanced data analysis skills to establish robust metrics and ensure comprehensive, consistent measurement of media effectiveness and consumer engagement. Solid Data Solution Architecture & Implementation: Architect, design, and oversee unified and structured dataset for all potential media use cases.
Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders and multi-functional IT teams to ensure data integrity, system integration, and the delivery of high-quality analytical infrastructures that empower business users. High-Impact Analytical Product Delivery & Insight Generation: Develop, deliver, and continuously refine powerful analytical products and dashboards that transform complex data into clear, actionable business insights. Utilize strong communication and storytelling skills to present findings effectively, directly influencing strategic decisions and driving measurable business outcomes across the organization. Competency Requirements: Strong data analysis skills: Able to independently analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify key patterns, insights, and implications Strong business acumen with deep media understanding:Ability to translate business objectives into data-driven, full-funnel media strategies that optimize investment Stakeholder management: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to understand needs, design solutions, and push for decision-making.
Ensure smooth execution and timely delivery in collaboration with agencies and internal teams Effective communication: Able to summarize insights clearly in presentations and C1 - Internal use reports, using visuals and structured storytelling to communicate findings to business teams Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in media performance analysis, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency-side exposure. Experience on SQL and PBI for data handling and report building Experience collaborating multiple parties and managing projects
