About the Team:
As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will serve as a critical regional engine, translating global product and solution strategies into highly effective local execution across the APAC region. You will bridge the gap between global strategy and local market dynamics, ensuring our messaging resonates with regional stakeholders, aligns with local market requirements, and addresses critical business and clinical challenges. Your ultimate mission is to drive inquiry creation and generate qualified leads by executing experience-led solution campaigns, managing content localization, and delivering sharp market intelligence.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Insights

Act as a regional hub for market intelligence, collaborating with country sales teams and utilizing tools to identify emerging trends.

Conduct research into new target addressable markets to uncover fresh growth segments and commercial opportunities.

Continuously refine the categorization and logic for Monthly Market Intelligence Newsletters

Support telemarketing projects as needed to acquire new contacts and expand database reach.
Logistics, Budgeting & Analytics

Oversee the regional product marketing budget, ensuring accurate spend reporting and compliance.

Partner with and manage third-party agencies to ensure seamless, on-time project execution.
Build and maintain performance dashboards to track, analyze, and report on campaign ROI, pipeline impact, and budget efficiency.
Qualifications:
Core Experience & Industry Background
3–5 years of B2B marketing experience within a SaaS or enterprise IT environment, with a proven track record of managing product initiatives and country-specific launches.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the Life Sciences or healthcare technology sector is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of the end-to-end user journey across various personas, with the ability to create targeted content that drives measurable engagement.
Marketing Tech & Data Analytics
Hands-on experience building and executing campaigns using marketing automation tools, specifically Oracle Eloqua.
Proficient in managing and running professional virtual events using ON24.
Skilled in tracking campaign performance, managing budgets, and building data-driven dashboards in Salesforce to report on ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Soft Skills
Proven ability to align and influence regional teams, with a strong emphasis on bridging the gap between Sales and Marketing.
Adept at navigating matrixed organizations, effectively advocating for APAC regional needs while maintaining global brand consistency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (professional-level English proficiency).
Highly responsive and collaborative, with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Education Requirements
Mandatory University Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or an equivalent field.
An MBA or Master’s degree is a strong plus.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
