Job Overview 综述:
The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for the overall coordination and optimization of the production planning system. Develop master production schedules, material requirements plans and capacity scheduling to ensure on-time delivery of orders, maintain reasonable inventory levels, coordinate and resolve production and material exceptions, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities 职责:
- Develop and rolling update the weekly production plan at the regional / plant level
- Optimize regional supply positions to ensure supply chain efficiency for a ~16-week horizon
- Run ‘what if’ scenarios to maximize total margin; analyze scenarios with levers such as demand,
capacity, inventory and manufacturing costs; propose solutions to regional leadership (this step
only done manually)
- Mitigate warehouse and production capacity constraints within the horizon by balancing
production lines & escalate where needed
- Maintain master data pertinent to Master Production Planning (e.g., regional- / site-level supply
constraints and production constraints)
- Prepare material for and lead S&OE meetings for medium term planning horizons (16 weeks).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Regional Planner, Warehouse/Logistics teams, Customer
Service and Plant Operations Management) to mitigate any supply related risks – S&OE
- Collaborate with planner roles when issues arise that affect the S&OP horizon
- Track metrics and identify gaps; propose recommendation to improve planning process
- Monitor Produce to Plan
- Inventory Management – Total Inventory & Slow Moving / Aged Inventory
Qualifications 要求:
- 5+ years of experience in production/material planning management (Experience in large multinational manufacturing is preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Proficient in MPS and MRP calculation, familiar with capacity analysis, scheduling management, material availability control and inventory management.
- Ability to work with people with different educational and cultural backgrounds and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong logical thinking, data analysis, risk prediction and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent cross-departmental communication, coordination and execution skills, able to work under pressure, responsible and result-oriented.
- Skilled in using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and proficient in Excel for data processing and analysis.
- Good written and Oral English
