- You are responsible for the commercialization of Globachem’s own developed innovative crop protection products in the different South-East Asian countries with an initial focus on China.
- You provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
- You are able to build a strong technical basis and understanding about our innovations and to transform your technical knowledge in compelling use recommendations to support a quick and convincing adoption in the market.
- You lead pre-launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
- You are well connected with a solid network of distributors, CRO’s, advisors and industry influencers in at least China and in a second phase in countries like Thailand and Vietnam. You are capable to build a similar network in other South-Asian countries.
- You coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
- You represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
- Together with the responsible sales manager, you select the distribution partners and set pricing.
- You work closely with your colleagues from Sales & Marketing, and also across other departments such as R&D, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain.
- You are part of the Sales & Marketing department and report to the Business Development Manager at our Headquarters in Belgium.
- You have a degree in Agronomy, Bio-engineering or any related field.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in a commercial role in crop protection and you have experience in the launching of new products.
- You are fluent in Chinese (native level) and English. Other languages are a plus.
- You are based in China and are flexible to travel frequently to other South-Asian countries or to the headquarters in Belgium.
- You are a strong communicator and have excellent negotiation skills.
- You apply a strategic and commercial approach in managing your projects.
- You are a hands-on self-starter driven by innovation.
