- The Product Development Chemist will develop innovative adhesives, coatings and sealants for automotive market applications.

Lead and manage automotive projects independently. Deliver projects on time on budget.

Propose and develop adhesives and coatings solutions which are strategically aligned with market and customer needs.

Engage in the patenting of innovative work.

Make technical presentations at customer meetings and conferences.

Collaborate with suppliers, customers, or any other external institutes to develop new technologies.

Provide technical support to manufacturing, business, and quality teams.

Maintain 5S in the laboratory and meet SHE requirements.
- Ph.D. with 3 years or MS with 5 years experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, polymer, or other relevant technical field is required.

English can be used as a working language. Good spoken and written skills.

Strong track record in new product development from concepts to commercial success.

Knowledge and experience in emulsion/dispersion, acrylates, and coating/adhesive chemistries.

Experience in hands-on/bench development of adhesives and coatings based on water-based polymers is required.

Experience in new product pilot and production scale up of adhesives, coatings and sealants is required.

Strong focus on safety and quality of work.

Excellent verbal and presentation skills with experience presenting to top management, customers and public groups.

Excellent problem-solving skills.
