Job Summary:
Responsible for understanding and documenting the cockpit system/software architecture across Android IVI and QNX Cluster in Automotive Cockpit solution. As a single technical SPOC for supplier discussions, analyze existing architecture and related domain functions/frameworks and ensure clear interface alignment, documentation completeness, architecture traceability, gap closure and smooth adaptation of cockpit software to OEM requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand cockpit architecture covering Android IVI apps, QNX cluster apps, middleware, SDKs, vehicle interfaces and HMI layers.
- Create concise architecture documentation: component diagrams, interface maps, data-flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, dependency matrix and adaptation notes.
- Analyze Android interfaces with Android SDK, Android Framework, Automotive Car APIs, VHAL, OEM middleware, diagnostics and system services.
- Analyze QNX cluster interfaces including HMI, business logic, IPC, graphics/display pipeline, tell-tales, warnings, ADAS visuals and diagnostics display.
- Identify OEM adaptations done for HMI behavior, vehicle signal mapping, regional features, configuration, branding, power modes and startup sequence.
- Act as OEM-side single SPOC for Tier-1 architecture/interface discussions, develop plan for software deliveries, clarification meetings, supplier reviews, issue triage and dependency closure.
- Track architecture gaps, risks, assumptions, open points and change impact for platform upgrades, feature changes and release maturity.
