In this role, you will be in charge of product quality of one or multiple apple products in apple’s OEM factories. You will mainly focus on FATP end-to-end quality strategy, methodology development, process control/matrix and qualification from NPI to MP, including IQC/IPQC/OQC and drive failure analysis (FA), issue solving, deliver best quality to our customers.","responsibilities":"Interface with Apple/OEM cross-functional teams to set up IQC/IPQC/OQC quality control in NPI/MP, resolve quality-related issues in high volume production.
Early engagement in new product development phase (NPI), collaborate with engineering/cross-functional team to define/implement key quality controls.
Ensure Quality Management Systems (QMS) adherence, development, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activities.
Drive improvements in QMS, quality tools, and techniques.
Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve quality excursions.
Review quality trends and drive improvement plans to reduce defects.
Use quality tools and techniques to analyze and improve quality and productivity.
Conduct audits to determine if the OEM quality systems are adequate.
Coordinate and standardize OEM quality across all facilities.
Continuously improve technical support within the quality organizations.
Formulate, implement, and improve consistent quality procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer, or 6-Sigma Black/Green belt.
Proficient in analysis process tools and software (JMP, MiniTab, 6 Sigma, SPC, etc.).
Working knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 / 14001 / VDA6.3, etc.).
Experience in in-process quality control.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or MS degree with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in high volume consumer electronic products in a design, manufacturing, or product/test engineering role.
Advanced statistical process controls and data-driven analysis (statistics, reliability, sampling, and auditing).
