YOUR TASKS
GENERAL TEXT
- Preparation and execution of tenders (RFQs): Creation and management of tenders and related content for engineering services/tools/licenses in coordination with purchasing and product centers/segments.

Interfaces to local purchasing, quality, legal, finance, warranty.

Operational responsibility for all suppliers of tools and licenses in the field of software development.

Selection, development and support of third-party software providers for our customer projects.
- Clarify, detail, and translate internal System/Hardware/Software and application requirements into precise, unambiguous technical specifications for the BSW supplier.

Managing the change request/impact of changes and ensuring traceability.
- Manage and track the supplier's technical delivery schedule, ensuring alignment with our internal project milestones.

Oversee/coordinate the integration of delivered BSW modules into the overall ECU software build environment.

Provide technical support for Hella development teams regarding BSW-related issues.

Conduct in-depth technical reviews of supplier deliverables, including source code, configuration files, design documents, and test reports.

Ensure the BSW development fulfilling internal standards and customer requirements (ASPICE, coding guidelines, etc.).
- Cooperation with Hella internal and external FUSA/CS team to ensure all BSW development meets the required ISO 26262 (ASIL) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity) standards.

Support Hella internal and external FUSA/CS team to review supplier safety/security artifacts (e.g., FTA, HARA, TARA reports).

Coordination and approval of engineering/tools/licenses suppliers in close cooperation with Quality and FUSA department.

Managing the supplier portfolio (supplier search, selection, evaluation, etc.).

Market and supplier analysis.

Support in the establishing, maintaining and managing a management system for all tools and licenses for software development topics/projects

Support in establishment and maintenance of contract management for all tools and license agreements
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of professional experience in embedded software development within the automotive industry, with a minimum of 3 years in AutoSAR Basic Software development.

Experience with major AutoSAR configuration tools (e.g., DaVinci Developer/Configurator).

Knowledge of software quality and process standards (e.g., ASPICE).

Deep practical knowledge of AutoSAR Classic Platform(CP) architecture, methodologies, and configuration. AutoSAR Adaptive Platform(AP) knowledge is a plus.

Expert-level understanding of core automotive services: Diagnostics: UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) (ISO 14229) implementation and stack configuration/ Bootloader: Architecture and implementation of the Flash Bootloader (FBL), including secure flash mechanisms./Communication: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet stack configuration.

Solid understanding of Microcontroller Unit (MCU) hardware architectures and low-level drivers (MCAL). Multi-core MCU knowledge is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Very good knowledge of English.
