We are looking for a Business Control Specialist to join our UPM Adhesive Materials Finance & Control team. Finance & Control is an expert organization committed to delivering operational efficiency and value improvement for the company’s businesses. F&C is formed by Finance Operations, and Business Control and F&C Development. This position can be based in Changshu, Kuala Lumpur or Shanghai.

What you will do
- Support the controller in delivering proactive and future-oriented business control services to business
- Assist business controller in preparing financial reports and basic analysis to support commercial decisions
- Participant in strategic projects from a business control perspective
- Lead business performance analysis, including segment-level and product profitability reviews to drive actionable insights
- Develop customer or combined customer / product analysis, and provide data-driven support for pricing and margin optimization
- Drive targeted cost savings for smart spend projects
- Proactively working with cross-function teams to drive business improvement opportunities
Other tasks as assigned, including ad-hoc analysis

Who you ar e
- You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
- You have 3+ years of solid hands-on experience in finance and control
- You have strong “role of business partner” sense in the daily work
- You have demonstrated analytical / logical problem-solving ability, while demonstrating initiative and a strong focus on identifying and solving problems
- You have positive thinking, can-do attitude, and good interpersonal skills
