This is a regional system application engineering role in the I2 segment, focusing on solid state transformer (SST) systems for applications such as data center power delivery, EV charging infrastructure, and grid-tied energy conversion. The core mission is to support go-to-market success through deep system understanding of SST architectures and scalable deployment of technical solutions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related discipline

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in power electronics industry, with application background that can be reasonably extended to SST or related high-power conversion systems

Strong understanding of SST system architecture, system-level requirements, and converter topologies is a plus
-
Proven experience in developing application-level technical contents and collaterals (evaluation reports, solution guides, reference designs)

Good knowledge of power devices (SiC, IGBTs, MOSFETs) across a broad range of power electronics applications, combined with deep technical know how and hands on experience in areas such as loss calculation, thermal evaluation, switching behavior, and SOA

Familiarity with Infineon power products and solutions is a strong plus

Strong communication skills and ability to work across regions and functions

Understand SST system architecture, system-level requirements, and key converter stage specifications (AC-DC, DC-DC, high-frequency isolation)

Develop and deliver application-level technical contents and collaterals for SST, including system evaluation and Infineon solution evaluation

Support design-in / design-win activities with system-level proposal sand customer engagement via regional teams

Align technical solutions between global teams and regional teams to enable scalable deployment

Provide structured technical input to G2M strategies for SST systems

Consolidate technical requirements from regional SST projects to drive product and solution improvements
