Job Description
Take charge of technical work for offshore rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, fans, turbo machinery and auxiliary systems.
Conduct equipment technical selection, parameter calculation, performance verification, and scheme optimization according to project PFD, UFD and client technical requirements.
Compile rotating equipment technical specifications, data sheets, bid technical documents, technical proposals and design calculation files.
Support project bidding and quotation work, provide technical evaluation, cost technical analysis and bid response for rotating equipment scope.
Review vendor drawings, technical proposals and factory test documents; raise technical queries and optimize equipment solutions.
Communicate and align technical requirements with clients, EPC contractors, third-party supervision and equipment manufacturers; handle technical clarification and technical negotiation.
Evaluate the offshore installation adaptability, operation stability and construction feasibility of rotating equipment, identify technical risks and propose mitigation solutions.
Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, piping and structural disciplines to ensure cross-professional technical consistency and project delivery integrity.
Track equipment manufacturing, factory acceptance test (FAT), site installation, commissioning and start-up phases, solve on-site technical problems in a timely manner.
Summarize project technical experience, sort out standard technical files, and promote the standardization of rotating equipment design and selection.
Qualifications

monitor the progress and quality of the detail design, review the detail design documents, technical support for procurement, coordinate and resolve technical issues with equipment Vendors during fabrication, installation and commissioning, etc.;

Familiar with offshore oil engineering design standards/specifications, prefer to ASME/ API standards;

Proficient in using model interference inspection software such as E3D and Navisworks, as well as Office software;

Skilled in participating in project meetings and solving technical problems face-to-face in both English and Chinese.
