Bioanalytical Associate Project Manager
Labcorp is seeking a Bioanalytical Associate Project Manager to join our team in Shanghai, China.
Job Responsibilities:

Participates in the onboarding process of new clients.

Reviews project scope in alignment with contract set up.

Supports the Lead Scientist and EPDS Program Manager as a point of contact regarding study status and on time delivery.

Obtains and provides visibility of study deliverables to project team.

Prepares schedules and assesses timelines to ensure delivery of key milestones.
-
Coordinates with operational team to schedule appropriately.
-
Drives communication and coordination with laboratory operations on current and upcoming projects.
-
Supports study set up processes in a timely manner.
-
Independently maintains project tracking systems and tools to monitor and communicate project status.
-
Monitors progress and status of assigned studies against project milestones.
-
Proactively provides project status updates to internal stakeholders.
-
Identifies and escalates risks and barriers to project execution in a timely manner; facilitates issue resolution discussions.
-
Assists with workload prioritisation discussions, based on knowledge of critical/key client deliverables.

Facilitates internal project update meetings, assists with assigning actions and monitors progress to meet deadlines.

Acts as a point of liaison for Bioanalytical groups, and other internal departments including Finance/Billing, Sample Management, Proposal Management and Toxicology

Accountable for study level revenue recognition and financial tool management

Proactively manages work scope changes throughout the study as necessary.

Drives resolution of financial related queries, with support as required.

Supports the NPS process through identification of studies for survey, encouraging client response and sharing feedback with internal teams.

Supports program Kick-Off meetings.

Actively contributes during client meetings. Records minutes and tracks action progress with internal teams.

Facilities provision of client governance information (KPIs, study status updates); participates in governance meetings.

Provides logistical support during the organisation of client visits.

Promotes quality within the study team.

Participate and/or leads a work stream to improve Bioanalytical chemistry processes.

Coaches and trains new team members in processes and best practices.
-
Learns to be accountable from a client relationship standpoint (preparing for PM role).

Provides backup support for PMs during absences or to assist with workload management.
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Understands bioanalytical principles and preclinical study designs on a broad basis.

Has a strong understanding of study requirements and aware of scientific directives.

Recognizes the functions of different teams within Labcorp and seeks guidance when appropriate.

Employs effective interpersonal skills to promote a positive culture and collaborates effectively with project teams.
Minimum Required:
-
Bachelor Degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical analysis, biology or chemistry.
-
3 months or more experience using computer and office software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, MS-Access and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3 years industry experience in bioanalytical project management.
-
Effective communication skills at all levels with Labcorp employees, external clients, suppliers, etc.
-
Proven ability to prioritize and manage time.
Additional Job Standards:

The ability to get things done by influencing others (both internal and external).

An up to date knowledge of regulatory guidelines is desirable.

Knowledge of capabilities and expertise of the Labcorp organisation and companies that may provide support services.

Commercial awareness, interpersonal and negotiating skills.

Be accredited to (and maintain) or be working towards Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) status.

Learn and maintain knowledge of process excellence processes, tools and activities.
