n this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and in-depth analysis of device-side wireless network performance testing. Leveraging your deep understanding of cellular communication protocols, you will design rigorous test scenarios to identify and resolve complex network performance bottlenecks, ensuring devices maintain outstanding and stable performance across various simulated and real-world network environments.
","responsibilities":"End-to-End Performance Validation: Lead wireless performance testing for 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) technologies, covering key metrics such as data throughput, voice quality, network mobility (handovers), power consumption, latency, connection reliability and user experience.
Test Environment Setup: Plan and configure complex wireless test lab environments, demonstrating proficiency in operating various cellular network emulators and associated RF test equipment.
In-Depth Log Analysis: Monitor and capture over-the-air and protocol stack data, utilizing extensive performance analysis experience to accurately pinpoint underlying protocol and RF performance issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate complex test results and analysis reports clearly to software/hardware development and system architecture teams to drive the root-cause resolution of performance bottlenecks.
Test Strategy Optimization: Stay current with the evolution of 3GPP standards, continuously developing, improving, and automating test cases and scripts to enhance overall test coverage and execution efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python) with the ability to develop and maintain automated test systems.
Adept at leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLM) to enhance daily workflows, such as writing code/scripts, data analysis, or problem-solving, to improve overall efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor/Master or above in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, a related STEM field, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience in wireless communications or performance testing.
Extensive hands-on experience and proficiency in 4G (LTE) and 5G (NR) wireless performance testing.
Deep understanding of 3GPP 4G and 5G protocol standards (including the physical layer and higher-layer protocols such as RRC/MAC/RLC/PDCP), especially for L1 protocol.
Proven ability to configure and operate industry-standard wireless channel profile emulators (e.g., Keysight F64) and general wireless test equipment.
Rich experience in troubleshooting and analyzing wireless performance issues, proficient with log capture and analysis tools for mainstream baseband chipsets.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (fluent in both written and spoken), capable of effective communication and seamless collaboration within global cross-functional teams.
