Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.
The work model for the role is: onsite
You will be mainly accountable for:

Management in accordance with laboratory management system documentation (ISO/IEC17025); organize and participate in internal and external quality system audits; and continuously improve to maintain system effectiveness.

Make up the test plans and follow their implementation; prepare test protocols and test reports.

Participate in and lead laboratory improvement projects, including electrical testing equipment, software upgrades, IT initiatives, and testing fixtures and tools.

Evaluate the 5S in the laboratory and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a full-time program in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.

Familiarity with testing standards for asynchronous and permanent magnet motors, such as the IEC 60034/GB 755/1032/14711/10068 series (including safety, electrical, energy efficiency, noise, and vibration testing) and the ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.
- Be familiar with testing equipment facilities and provide training to operators.

Proficient in office software and have the basic skill of software programming (LabVIEW, VB, C, etc.).

At least 6 years of experience managing an electric motor testing laboratory.

Fluent in English.
