- Identify and develop qualified best-fit suppliers for various demands of engineered equipment, materials, subcontracting need for Sulzer packages
- Conduct market research, TCO analysis (within Sulzer Scope coverage), and supply chain risk assessments.

- Vendor Management
Evaluate, qualify, and assess suppliers' technical capability, quality standards, and capacity Manage supplier performance, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions where needed. Maintain accurate supplier records (credentials, ISO, Financial, audit records, performance in Sulzer digital dashboard, and other files. Support Quality team in the corrective actions for in case of NCR and tracking of COPQ

- Project Procurement Support (when activated)
- Will be working in Advanced Procurement team while collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Project Management, Workshop to meet project procurement needs and timelines. Provide regular procurement status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQ’s, commercial bid evaluations. Lead negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, favorable terms, while aligned to the total cost of ownership (within Sulzer scope). Issue purchase orders, monitor order progress for buy outs, work with Quality and Project Manager to ensure the right cost, right quality and delivery timeline.
- Documentation & Reporting: For Project Procurement Support:a) Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure that documentation is filed and accessible. Ensure traceable support in SAP during PO Creationb) Prepare procurement status reports for internal tracking and report to Advance Procurement Manager for progress status reviews.For Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Managementa) Maintain accurate sourcing status records and ensure that documentation is filed and accessible.b) Prepare sourcing reports for monthly progress including vendor workload, market/sourcing highlights and status of sourcing activities and report to Head of Supply Chain for progress status reviews.c) Continuous updates in Digital Procurement for Vendor Profiles
- Compliance, Sustainability & Cost Optimization:
Ensure full adherence to company policies, SCM Policies, and ethical sourcing standards with zero breach. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost control, and supplier collaboration. Support implementation and optimization of digital tools, and workflows. Contribute to value engineering / design-to-cost efforts by proposing alternative suppliers, designs, or materials promoting better profitability Ensure Non-Disclosure Agreement, ESG & Code of Business Conduct are agreed, signed and uploaded in Digital Procurement for involved vendors, seeking Regional or Global Support (Finance, Legal, Auditor) when needed Ensure promotion of Sulzer Sustainability & ESG Policies

Qualifications:

- 5–10 years of sourcing and procurement experience in EPC (preferred), manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.
- Strong background in procuring engineered equipment (Static, Rotating, Piping, E&I, Structural, and Sub‑contracting), technical materials, or project packages.
- Solid understanding of the procurement lifecycle, bid evaluation, contract terms, and strong critical‑thinking capability.
- Proven experience in negotiation, supplier management, and technical/commercial bid analysis.
- Familiarity with project procurement processes for long‑lead and critical‑path items.
- Strong commercial judgment, including cost analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) assessment.
