As the core driver and owner of the factory's Business Excellence (BE), the Business Excellence Manager is responsible for integrating product strategy with operational excellence. This role establishes and implements a management framework focused on strategic alignment, continuous improvement, and cross-functional synergy. Through project-driven initiatives, the manager will enhance operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, and quality, fostering a high-performance culture to support the achievement of the factory's annual business objectives.

1.Product Strategy & Business Alignment

Analyze market trends and competitive landscape in China and the Asia-Pacific region to provide input for the factory's product and operational strategy.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers to collect, consolidate, and analyze internal and external product requirements, ensuring they are translated into clear operational improvement and development initiatives.

Lead the development and deployment of the factory's product strategy in alignment with corporate goals, defining its operational implications and requirements.

Translate product roadmap and market demands into the factory's annual Business Excellence roadmap, goals, and implementation paths.

Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and Production to ensure operational plans and BE initiatives directly support product strategy and time-to-market goals.
2.BE System Construction & Strategic Implementation (Compliance focus)

Establish and refine the BE management system to ensure it is actionable, traceable, and iterative, supporting strategic goals.

Align with HQ/Superior Dept. requirements to standardize processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and corporate sustainability goals.

Ensure the maintenance of required certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and specific certifications for building fire safety and AUT products.
3.Improvement Project Management & Knowledge Transformation

Manage the full lifecycle of major factory continuous improvement projects, including initiation, planning, resource coordination, progress tracking, and benefit calculation.

Advocate for a culture of Continuous Improvement (CIP), providing guidance to ensure timely goal achievement.

Organize reviews of CIP results, standardize successful cases into a knowledge base, and promote the replication of best practices.
4. Operations & Efficiency & Cost Optimization

Drive operational excellence initiatives to boost productivity and overall process efficiency and effectiveness.

Lead Cost Down initiatives to quantify and achieve tangible cost-saving results.

Establish a comprehensive KPI monitoring system (Efficiency, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety), using regular data reviews to drive proactive problem-solving.

Partner with the Quality department to apply improvement methodologies, reducing defect rates and minimizing quality losses.
5.Facilities, EHS, and Security Management

Oversee Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and occupational health management to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Coordinate with Siemens Real Estate (RE) to manage property service providers, ensuring the stable operation of facilities and fire safety compliance.

Liaise with security service providers to ensure factory site security.
6.Team Leadership & Culture Building

Manage the BE team, defining work plans, conducting skill training, and performing performance evaluations.

Organize plant-wide improvement activities to foster a culture of "Total Participation and Continuous Improvement."

Engage with external professional institutions and consultants to introduce advanced BE concepts and tools.
7.Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with Product Management, Production, R&D, Quality, Facilities, Procurement, and Logistics to drive BE projects and resolve cross-departmental bottlenecks.

Liaise with Group HQ, other factories, and external partners to share BE best practices.

Coordinate with government agencies and industry associations to implement compliance requirements and sustainability projects.
8.Lead company culture construction.
Your defining qualities

Bachelor's degree or above.
-
Majors in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related fields are preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, strategy, or operational excellence roles.

At least 3 years of experience in a leadership/team management role.
-
Proven experience in integrating product strategy with operational execution is highly preferred.

Experience in the manufacturing sector is an advantage. Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 standards is a plus.

Experience working in large Multinational Corporations (MNCs) is preferred.

Strategy consulting experience is a plus.
