Join our Hardware Engineering team as a System Signal Integrity Engineer and help craft the future of mobile technology. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional experts to analyze, characterize, and validate key low-speed and high-speed SI performance in complex systems. You will play a critical part in optimizing system SI performance and integrating solutions across the product line.
Description
This role focuses on system SI validation, optimization, and integration. You will apply your engineering skills to navigate technological challenges and ensure robust product performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting electrical design reviews, executing test bring-up and debugging, and validating system low-speed and high-speed interfaces. Routine tasks also involve providing factory build support and collaborating effectively across diverse teams and regions.","responsibilities":"Conduct system SI design reviews.
Execute system bring-up, debugging, failure analysis, and triage.
Perform tests and measurements using lab instruments to debug and validate end-to-end IO interface designs.
Support factory engineering build activities, which includes traveling to manufacturing sites.
Develop and implement factory test stations, write test scripts, analyze test data, and provide actionable design feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
Comprehensive understanding of design and validation requirements for low-speed and high-speed interfaces (e.g., I2C/SMBus, SPI, SPMI, USB, PCIe, DisplayPort, Clocks).
Strong knowledge of SerDes and equalization techniques.
Experience debugging RF/IO coexistence issues.
Hands-on experience characterizing high-speed and low-speed interfaces, including tuning and setting TX/RX PHYs.
Solid understanding of system architecture and circuit design.
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization using scripting languages.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles and knowledge of hardware system IO interface architecture.
Experience in signal integrity, including modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Hands-on experience operating lab equipment for high-speed IO characterization and debugging (e.g., Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Logic Analyzer, Power Supply, DMM).
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
