- Interface with innovation to define product specification to perform.
EXPERTISE : (acquisition phase)
- Manage OEM & internal technical interfaces.
- Collect and Analyse Customer Needs
- Define technical assumptions based on IES standards.
- Identify & propose product challenges to be more competitive.
- Obtain & coordinate technical inputs from the “metiers” (expertise fields)
- Attend to the milestones (M0 & M0Bis) and argue the technical choices.
- Provide to AVP teams the product inputs.
- Built up the technical file summarizing product assumptions (OEM inputs, diversity, definition, tool options, logistic, process, quality, planning, patents, benchmark, and innovations)
- Consolidate the risk analysis with Quality department.
DEVELOPMENT: (Part of the EPM extended team)
- Bring technical support to EPM regarding the technical choices.
- Bring technical support and do the technical analysis in case of big issues.
- At M1 milestone, transfer the project data and backgrounds to the nominated project team.
- Participate and validate the product design during Design Reviews and Quad Reviews
- At the end of the project, participate to the lessons learned built up.
PRODUCTION:
- Participate to the project follow up during production phase: technical support, productivity, optimisation and capitalization.
