The Professional Development Manager - Greater China & North & Southeast Asia, is primarily responsible for leading the execution and enhancement of learning programs that elevate travel advisor performance, with an emphasis on delivering luxury-focused learning opportunities in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English tailored to regional needs. The role plans and delivers impactful professional development at Virtuoso events, prioritizing luxury standards and fostering advisor expertise across the regions.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develop and implement a strategic professional development plan tailored for the Greater China and NSE Asia markets, aligning with global standards and prioritizing luxury sales growth and advisor engagement.

Collaborate with Sr. Director, Professional Development & Training, regional leaders, and global PD teams to plan annual product inventory and sales forecasts.

Collaborate with the Professional Development and Greater China and North and Southeast teams to identify evolving advisor learning needs and foster elevated sales production and engagement.

Lead, deliver, and curate impactful, luxury-focused learning programs in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese ensuring accessibility and inclusiveness for Greater China and NSE Asia advisors.

Plan, organize, and execute professional development at events throughout the year, ensuring seamless delivery of content that drives advisor growth and success within luxury travel.

Deliver Preferred Partner training, scaling opportunities as business needs evolve.

Curate and develop professional development content for newsletters, communications, ensuring alignment with Virtuoso’s objectives and maximizing reach and impact.

Monitor, track, and analyze participation in learning programs using performance data, feedback loops, and advisor engagement metrics to ensure continuous improvement and refinement of offerings.

Support the scaling of global Professional Development offerings, i.e., Virtuoso Mastery Programs, strengthening Virtuoso’s global value proposition and advisor success.
Educational and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years’ experience in learning and development, education, business, luxury, travel industry management or related field OR 5+ years’ experience in learning and development, education, business, travel industry management or related field

Fluency in English and Mandarin required, Cantonese highly preferred

Demonstrated track record of successful learning program management

Passion for developing and scaling learning programs and products that are globally consistent, regionally relevant, and that create measurable success for customers

Excellent written, verbal, presentation, organizational and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail

Travel Requirements:
