Responsible for prototype vehicle assembly process planning based on 3D digital mock-up, develop complete standardized and executable assembly process documents, assembly parts allocation by station, guide the assembly team to finish prototype vehicle assembly, debugging and related work in accordance with process documents, and ensure the smooth implementation of prototypes manufacturing, delivery and testing.
Develop complete set of prototype assembly process documents based on 3D vehicle digital mock-up, including assembly process flow, standard operating procedures (SOP), tooling & tool list, fastener torque requirements, material list, etc., to ensure on-site assembly can be carried out directly according to the documents.
Conduct assembly process planning and virtual assembly verification, check the rationality of assembly sequence, path and operation space, identify assembly interference and feasibility issues, and put forward process optimization solutions.
Put forward requirements for trial-production special assembly tools, tooling and fixtures, cooperate in the verification and debugging of tooling and fixtures to meet prototype assembly requirements.
Provide on-site process guidance and technical support for prototype assembly, timely solve process problems during assembly, track and close issues.
Continuously optimize assembly process and documents, summarize trial-production experience, and support efficient assembly of subsequent prototypes.
Complete other tasks assigned by the superior related to prototype trial-production process.
It must be ensured that all group and location rules/regulations, guidelines and works agreements, etc. that apply for the area of responsibility transferred are complied with or applied. In particular, these include adherence to the relevant compliance rules, safety, work safety and environmental regulations and working hours regulation.
