Job Description

Responsibility:

Responsible for the eAxle system layout, dimensioning and creating of the optimum systemic solution – create, evaluate and implement system concepts
Main contact person for customer technical system requests incl. interfaces
Coordination of customer requirements (top-down and bottom-up) and internal experts
Responsible for customer requirements and their break down to the subcomponents and tracking of the requirements
Deal with uncertainties and incomplete requirements, make assumptions and develop them into requirements
Support content and time planning of system work packages in the project in collaboration with internal experts and track the work status
Define procedures and methods for system verification and validation. Specify according to the SAR list
Risk assessment of special releases
Supporting change management by performing impact analysis of changes of both requirements and design and release from system view
System architecture including interface definition and description

Scope of Work

Core member of the project team
Request and complete base-requirements for eAxle from customer
Coordination of subcomponents during the design phase
Definition and approval of functional measurement
Support of special system measurements

Work Products

Requirements sheet incl. customer technical profile
Implementation of requirements in DOORS

(support through requirements engineer)

Confirmation of requirements in DOORS (ASPICE)
Develop system concepts, assessment, introduction
TCD
Interface description in the interface matrix
PS-PE basic requirements sheet (PE-Basisanspruch)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
Several years of experience in automotive system engineering, preferably in eAxle, eDrive, or powertrain systems.
Strong understanding of system architecture, system layout, and interface definition in complex automotive systems.
Experience with requirements engineering and management tools (e.g., DOORS) and familiarity with ASPICE processes.

Good project coordination and communication skills in an international environment.
Fluent English communication skills.
