POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Order Management Specialist supports the Customer Account Management (CAM) function by managing order processing activities for the China region in close collaboration with the EMEA order processing team. This role is responsible for license generation, price quotations, contract administration, and maintaining accurate order records within Salesforce and other corporate systems. The position works cross‑functionally with Sales, Finance, Partners, and Legal teams to resolve order‑related issues, support receivables collection, and ensure timely VAT issuance, requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and effective communication within a global environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the initial point of contact, working with the EMEA Order Processing team for Chinese order processing, generating licenses, price quotations, product information, contract administration, ensuring correct payment processing, and research of order histories for resolution of customer service issues on Salesforce and other corporate systems.
- You will be responsible for booking enterprise and subscription deals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Partner teams on order processing issues.
- You will review software purchase order contracts and work alongside Business Partners, Deal Desk, Credit, Contract and Order Management teams to ensure the contract is accurate.
- You will use (i) Salesforce and (ii) SAP to book enterprise opportunities and contracts for accurate downstream invoicing.
- Support Finance team to collect receivables and issue Tax VAT for customers.
- Any other responsibilities as the Team requires.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 2+ years of experience in Order Management: Software contract management, deal desk or software billing experience in this sector.
- Experience utilizing SAP; additionally, while the business currently uses Salesforce, however if you have experience with another CRM or you have used an internal CRM it will also be considered.
- Experience in working with common business tools such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross functional team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties. It is critical that you are able to work cross functionally with multiple international teams.
- Bachelor’s degree
