Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Server Hardware Engineer who is fluent in English to support server maintenance and hardware troubleshooting across our sites in Shanghai and Hong Kong. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with key server components and is available for weekday on-site work.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Availability: Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
- Experience with:
- HDD (SATA/SAS/NVMe)
- SSD
- Cooling fans (server-grade)
- Power Supply Units (PSU)
- Motherboard (troubleshooting, replacement, firmware basics)
- Own / provide the following tools:
- Laptop (Windows OS)
- Torx T screwdriver set
- Console cable: RJ45 to USB
- Mouse and keyboard
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and replace faulty server hardware (HDD, SSD, fan, PSU, motherboard)
- Use console cable for serial access to servers
- Maintain hardware inventory and document issues
- Collaborate with remote teams in English
