Primary responsibility for product research on functional aspect, including –omics study, biological and clinical study, and data analysis. Design and manage studies for ingredient/formula substantiation. Set up and manage collaboration and projects with both inside and outside partners. Deliver product information/science and technology to marketing and distributors. Leverage AI into research, development and science interpretation.
What you'll do:

Responsible for the functional design and substantiation of current and future products.

Responsible for product ideation/design incorporated with cutting-edge science and technology to meet a marketing niche, based upon well-defined marketing objectives.

Responsible for proposal, executing, follow up, data analysis/data mining, concluding and publishing studies.

Effectively communicate science aspects so development can incorporate into product formulations, and generate substantiation documents

Work with Marketing department to prepare science and technical aspects of product claims and sales literature. Review and advise on marketing and sales material from scientific aspects.

Evaluate unique raw materials and recommend potential sources from biological and pharmacological point of view. Proactively bring new and unique technologies/research areas to the team for evaluation.

Assist studies and documents to register product.

Keep current on new technologies and ingredients by meeting with vendors, reading trade journals, and Attending technical seminars and industry conferences.

Demonstrates nutritional and biological expertise; deliver presentations and technical information for distributor product seminars, conferences, workshops, etc. both in English and in Chinese.
- Work effectively with outside researchers to complete studies or network to substantiate or develop new products.

Effectively communicate (written and oral) to summarize research for manuscripts, posters, or patents.

What you'll need:

Ph.D. required

Good background in research (TCM, Pharmacology, animal studies, preclinical or clinical study), statistics and data analysis.
