Job Description:
- Lab operation safety assurance
1) Be familiar with hazard categories of solvents and chemicals and ensure storing & handling process full compliance to SDS requirements.
2) Be familiar with lab operation safety risks and ensure preventative barriers are implemented during daily operation.
3) Be familiar with lab emergency response procedures and participate regular lab ERP drill excise.
1) To conduct and leading/instructing 3rd party testers to implement routine QC tests for incoming raw material samples, blending product samples, filling product samples, blend study samples and any other samples basing on approved test protocols.
2) To release raw materials and products basing on test results and release procedures.
1) To arrange product periodical QA tests basing on required frequency and approved test protocols.
2) To track QA testing progress and consolidate internal & external QA test results.
- Lab routine operation to underpinning daily operation firmly.
1) To keep quality check records properly to meet Castrol GSC lubricant quality manual requirements.
2) To retain raw material and product samples properly to meet Castrol GSC lubricant quality manual requirements.
3) To monitor lab consumables and spare parts stock and timely raise purchasing request for replenishment to ensure lab consecutive operation.
4) To coordinate and conduct lab internal and external equipment calibration and ensure yearly calibration plan is implemented timely.
5) To conduct SQC tests to monitor critical equipment performance.
6) To prepare product COA and upload to on-line system.
- Continuously Improvement on quality of operation and business growth.
1) Learning from internal &external quality incident and follow up CI opportunities.
2) Knows what actually happens on site quality, and raise CI observations.
3) Be participating in NPI process, and support new product landed at plant.
4) Be participating in internal audit and external audit activities that including ISO/IATF/OEM.
- Shift lead 3P workforce to support the shift production delivery.
- E&C commitment: upholding company's Code of Conduct, internal &external compliance requirements.
To be sucessful in the role , you will need to have:
- College degree in Chemical or related science field
- Minimum 2 years chemical related manufacturing plant lab or testing agency lab experience
- Basic read and written English
- Basic awareness of ISO 9001QMS & ISO 14001EMS & IATF16949
It will be preferred if you also have:
- Experience on lubricant testing methods and testing equipments
- Good communication skill
- Good computer operation skill
