- Prepare, coordinate and control the maintenance activities to assure high equipment reliability, productivity, product quality and safety.
- Establish applicable PM, PDM plan to reduce equipment sudden failure.
- Maintain equipment log and record, drive and improve daily inspection
- Establish annual budget and keep track, deliver innovations and savings ideas.
- Supervise team to work with safety, efficiency and skills. Promote a cooperative attitude with subordinates. Effectively practice Performance Based Management by coaching and developing employees.
- Train and supervise the team members to comply with the SOP and technical installation or repair requirement of all applicable equipment.
- Participate in the execution of maintenance and capital projects such as shutdowns, plant modifications, etc. Work as project mechanical resource, lead or assist and advise in the installation of new equipment to obtain the required reliability to operate mechanical equipment based on requirement. Assure that preventative maintenance, spare parts inventory is planned and carried out for new equipment.
- Supervise suppliers’/contractors’ day to day activities and periodically participate in vendor assessment. Ensure that contractors comply with Cabot safety and all other site procedures.
- Be capable of making accurate judgement in mechanical equipment running status and follow up suggestion.
- Ensure maximum plant availability by establishing reliability principles. Lead and conduct TPM related work

- Knowledge and ability of MB/compounds (or Plastic related industry) related mechanical m aintenance crafts
- Knowledge and ability of Reliability centered maintenance process, including but not limited to PM, PDM, daily inspection, turnaround etc. Knowledge of TPM is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of building structure, utilities and facilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance budget development and cost estimation
- Team leadership capability, passion for winning attitude and strong ownership, fast learner.
- Project execution related knowledge.
- Knowledge in areas such as confined space entry, lockout / tag out, hot work permitting, etc.
- Reading and interpreting Blueprint and technical drawings
- Ability of root-cause analysis, gather, analyze and draw well-reasoned conclusions
- Understanding of General Manufacturing Process
- Knowledge and ability in Accident / Near Miss Investigation / Reporting procedures
- Knowledge of Environmental Awareness
- Good English communication skill at reading and writing.
- Mechanical bachelor diploma or above degree was needed .Plus additional specialized training (University / Technical degree preferred).
- Minimum four years maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing-related production plant, plus three years supervisory experience.
