Summary
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset to join our team as a Project Manager that must be living in and based in China. In this remote job role, you will be responsible for the operations and sales support stages of the trip planning process. From managing client inquiries, coordinating with travel agent vendors in China, and utilizing common usage applications such as Microsoft 365 and CRM systems. Your primary goal will be to win deals, ensure smooth travel operations, and deliver exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a client facing position.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with vendors in China to gather quotes, negotiate rates, and secure travel arrangements.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze detailed travel quotation process, bookings data, including expenses, itineraries, and client data & preferences.
Create professional documents, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Effectively utilize CRM systems to manage client information, track interactions, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to achieve company business objectives and goals.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Working Hours
Job is remote, typical work hours are 9am - 6pm with occasional weekly meetings as early at 7:30am or 8:30am up to twice a week only.
Working Experience
Experience in travel operations, customer service, or a related field.
Background in sales and/or customer service.
Experience living, working, or traveling in China and most importantly currently living in China.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with use of CRM platforms (Nutshell.com) and task management software (Monday.com).
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to work in a cloud-based environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be confident communicating with U.S.-based clients in English via email, phone, and virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teamss & Zoom
Flexible, discreet, and trustworthy
Experienced in supplier communication, customer interaction, and understanding Asian American culture
Willing to travel anywhere in China.
Language proficiency in Korean is a big plus.
Working Location
Full time remote work, but may require visiting clients that arrive to China from time to time.
Compensation
Salary is fixed with opportunities to increase pay over time with experience and commissions.
Since we are a US based remote company we do not cover local labor and health insurance.
