Champion engineering integration and collaboration activities across Semiconductor Division and where appropriate the Vacuum Technique Business Area. Create new innovative, market leading products and systems with high customer value to support profitable growth while efficiently maintaining and supporting existing products for product company Qingdao. Support the company’s overall targets and manage engineering related activity.
- Strengthen the engineering organization through effective staff recruitment, retention, objective setting, competency, and people development. Coach and develop the team to maximize its full performance. Oversee the knowledge and skill matrix of your team and actively steer training programs to close gaps and increase effectiveness, including but not limited to technical skills, product knowledge, communication, finance and cost calculation, relevant digital tools and constructive behavior. Continuously increase the maturity of your team and secure flexibility and agility.
- Offer structured, professional and timely day-to-day level 4 technical support to the Customer Center. Support our CCs to solve quality problems by making relevant and traceable information available.
- NPI/A&D/ETO Programmes: Responsible for the high-level product technical concept definition, planning, execution and timely delivery of best in class new and derivative products.
- On specification, on time, on budget, to product targets

- Aligned to agreed product roadmaps and customer order schedules
- Drive monthly PCM
- Offer structured, professional and timely day-to-day technical support to the Product Company. Support operation output and sourcing China for China localization strategy on time, on cost, on quality.
- Analyze, report and actively improve our product design quality via effective and consistent measurement and follow-up of warranty reporting. Release service information bulletin (SIB).
- Pro-actively visit Customers and CCs looking for design quality and serviceability improvements, focusing on increasing customer experience and creating value for Atlas Copco Group.
- Ensure product portfolio continuously meets legislative, industrial and corporate standards through design, safety review and certification processes. Act as delegated signatory for key technical authority documentation.
