Introduction
We are looking for an Inspection Supervisor to join our Foundry Quality team in the Consumables business area. In this role, you will strengthen the management of the QC team, improve the professional skills of inspectors, and ensure the effective implementation of inspection and testing processes, contributing to product quality and operational excellence.You will report to the Quality Manager, and the role location is Quzhou, based fully onsite.

You will join the Foundry Quality team focused on inspection, testing, and quality assurance activities. Our team plays a key role in ensuring reliable measurement systems, effective quality control processes, and continuous improvement of product quality, with a shared focus on operational excellence and product compliance.Our team is based in Quzhou.
What you'll do
Lead the daily management of the QC and laboratory teams, including work allocation, follow-up, work discipline, and safety supervision.
Ensure the reliability and stability of measurement systems through effective inspection, maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of measuring equipment, gauges, and testing methods.
Standardize inspection and testing activities, verify execution through observations and inspections, and implement appropriate improvement actions.
Validate measurement system effectiveness through product audits and testing activities, and drive corrective actions when needed.
Ensure the implementation and application of product standards and monitor the effective operation of nonconforming product containment, rework, and revalidation processes.
Train, develop, and coach inspection team members to strengthen technical capability, quality awareness, and overall team performance.
Drive lean improvement and digitalization initiatives within the inspection function to enhance quality management effectiveness and team capabilities.
Provide timely feedback on quality issues and data, support Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) processes, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and perform other assigned responsibilities.
What you'll bring
Associate degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in quality management within the mechanical manufacturing industry, including familiarity with inspection processes for casting, welding, and machining products.
Proficiency in the use and management of common measuring equipment such as calipers and 3D scanning systems, as well as familiarity with ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing processes.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to create CAD drawings and design standard gauges and inspection fixtures.
Understanding of quality management and continuous improvement tools, including QC Seven Tools, 8D, and 5 Whys.Knowledge of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and control plan application.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
Experience leading inspection teams, including people management, development, motivation, and performance improvement.
Fluent English communication skills and experience using SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
