Job Responsibilities
1. Lead concept and system-level design activities, conduct feasibility studies, and serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical, PCB, and system design domains.
2. Perform comprehensive engineering and architecture analysis to evaluate design approaches and identify optimal system solutions.
3. Develop placement strategies and design implementations with a focus on achieving the best balance between performance, cost, and product requirements.
4. Provide technical guidance and recommendations throughout the product development lifecycle to support system architecture and design decisions.
Job Requirements
1. 7+ years of experience in system architecture, design, and analysis of PCs, notebooks, and/or other consumer electronic products.
2. Strong engineering analysis capabilities with the ability to drive system-level architecture decisions; hands-on experience in architecting and designing complex systems is required.
3. Expert understanding of block diagrams, electrical analysis, x86 CPU and chipset architectures, as well as thermal design and manufacturing processes.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively drive collaboration and influence cross-functional engineering teams.
5. Solid knowledge of BIOS and a strong understanding of hardware, software, and driver interactions.
6. Experience with EMC compliance and notebook product certification processes is highly preferred.
