As a Guidewire Developer - Senior Associate, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a comprehensive software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Within our Business Application Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support to optimize operational efficiency and help clients achieve their strategic objectives.
As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward isn’t clear. This role at PwC Acceleration Center Shanghai offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, while upholding professional and technical standards. You will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, contributing to the delivery of client solutions and the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations
- Analyzing client requirements and implementing software solutions to optimize operational efficiency
- Designing, coding, and testing software solutions for policy administration, claims management, and billing
- Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications
- Navigating complex situations to deliver quality solutions and grow personal skills
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating the needs of teams and clients
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex concepts and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
