Guy Carpenter
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Broking team at Guy Carpenter China. This role will be based in Beijing or Hong Kong Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Support in maintaining and developing client relationship for existing clients and new clients
- Support the best broking practice, which include client proposal, presentation, market submission & execution
- Build and maintain good relations with reinsurers
- Regular communication with client at counterpart level to collect client feedback, identify client need and gather market intelligence
- Conduct market research and information collecting
- Compile presentations and advisory documents under direction of a supervisor
- Play an active role in GC client and market events to promote GC brand and enhance relationship with clients and markets as required
- Any projects under the direction of management
What you need to have:
- University graduate with Finance, Statistics, Economics, Risk Management, Math etc
- Experience in insurance / reinsurance industry
- Experience in property and casualty insurance
- Experience in actuary or underwriting is a plus
- Strong ability to work with colleagues effectively at all levels, must be a good team player
- Well-versed in office software (word, excel, powerpoint)
