Role Purpose
The Sr. Strategy Manager will serve as acore strategic intelligence insight partner, providing senior leadership with real-time strategic insights toinform long-term strategic direction,expand near-term decision options, andshape company China strategy.
This role will build a holistic view onChina macro dynamics, global perspectives on China market, China pharmaceutical market dynamics, competitive intelligence, monitoring these trends and translating intoclear strategic implications, options, and recommendations for China.
Key Responsibilities
1. China Macro Dynamics Global Perspectives on China market
- Monitor China macro dynamics, and identifypotential opportunities and risks for our company
2. China Pharmaceutical Industry Long‑Term Strategy Insight
- Track and analyzeChina Pharmaceutical Industry trends, develop aholistic, forward‑looking view in close partnership with cross-functional teams
- Synthesize disparate signals intoclear strategic narratives
3. China Pharmaceutical Industry Long‑Term Strategy Insight
- Monitorstrategic movements of leading pharmaceutical/biotech players
- Translate competitor activity intoactionable strategic implications, risks, and opportunities for China
4. China Pharmaceutical Industry Long‑Term Strategy Insight
- Analyzeannual and quarterly performance results
- Communicate concise insights onimplications to China
5. China Pharmaceutical Industry Long‑Term Strategy Insight
- Integrate insights acrossmacro trends, industry dynamics, competitor intelligenceinto a coherent strategic view
- Act as atrusted thought partner to leadership on evolving strategic topics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or related field; MBA or equivalent business training preferred
- 6–10 years of experience inpharma strategy, consulting, corporate strategy, or commercial excellence
- Strong understanding ofChina pharma market dynamics and MNC operating models
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information intoclear executive insights
