Job Description
As an intern on the global Early in Career (EiC) team, you will have ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. You will be a key member of the Human Resources Department at Roche, which encompasses many critical areas of talent attraction, recruitment, and talent development. The EiC team is key to executing on the company’s investment in early talent (internships, rotational programs, and other entry-level opportunities) for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The intern will be based in Shanghai, China, to support the APAC EiC Partner and Specialist in the daily creation of unparalleled EiC experiences that foster development, networking, and community for interns at Roche and its affiliates. - Help EiC Partner and Specialist in daily operations and execution of various strategies across the region and/or globe
- Ensure flawless China talent program delivery, especially on events/ activities management
- Interface with operations executives& vendors for execution excellence
- Contribute to the China talent program interaction via data and insights generation
- Support online and offline university career fairs and engagement events
- Research the EiC best practices across the region and/or globe
Required qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree or related experience in HR management, organizational development, communications, and or business/related field
- Student organization and/or leadership experience is preferred
- Experience in HR recruiting, talent development, or marketing via coursework or previous internship is preferred
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English
- Demonstrated good communication, collaboration, personal agility, and resilience
- Knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite is a plus
- Able to work at least 3 days per week for 6 months
