General Summary:
Responsibilities
The candidate will work as an DSP SME(Subject Matter Expert) to develop DSP features, solve bugs and collaborate with global DSP teams to address China customer issues in DSP domain. Responsibilities include developing/enhancing the framework/drivers for new AI/ML use case, DSP optimizations, drive design/debug discussions across global DSP teams. Effectively communicate technical solutions to both internal and external audiences when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience in embedded operating systems and is a must .
Strong communication skills is a must . Fluent in spoken and written English is required. Able to discuss complex tech issues in English.
Ability to debug and resolve deep runtime/system issues across multiple layers of DSP/RTOS stack is required .
Self-motivated and versatile attitude to learn new architectures and operating systems is required .
The experience for OS like Interrupt/IST, Memory management, Scheduler, Preemption, Performance, Cache coherency, Clock/Power Management, etc. is preferred .
Experience with Qualcomm Hexagon DSP or similar DSP/NSP platforms is strongly preferred .
Experience with Linux/RTOS programming, hardware drivers, Trace32/JTAG debugging is preferred .
Exposure to machine learning or computer vision, LLM workloads is preferred .
8+ years of software experience in embedded software development for ARM based systems
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Embedded Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Embedded Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Embedded Software Engineering or related work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
