The BSP New Business Development (NBD) Manager serves as the primary customer and partner- facing representative for the Hydrogen Barrier and Selective Permeability group. This role is responsible for developing strategic business relationships, gathering market insights, and defining market requirements to support the successful commercialization of high value barrier solutions developed by ALTANA. The NBD Manager will actively promote next generation technologies under development while translating customer and partner needs into actionable input that enables effective product launches and long-term market success. This role will work closely with the barrier R&D group in Shanghai.
- Build and manage strong relationships with partners, prospective customers, and key collaborators.
- Identify and engage key decision makers within target organizations.
- Promote and communicate our in development, next generation solutions to target markets.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations that showcase current offerings and future product potential.
- Promote communication between ALTANA barrier group and divisional business lines.
- Identify new market opportunities, segments, and strategic partners.
- Provide structured market feedback to R&D and product management teams.
- Support go-to-market planning, value proposition development, market pricing inputs, etc.
- Assist with laboratory experiments as-needed to support ongoing R&D initiatives and gain hands on familiarity with current research efforts.
