Main Responsibilities & Tasks

Perform regular lab tasks: System & equipment maintenance, check & maintain lab inventory, keep an overview of consumables & reagent stock, good ‘house-keeping’, Coordinate tasks around lab maintenance with internal and external stakeholders

Comply with lab policies

Conduct lab experiments performed in the BSL1 and BSL2 lab
-
Support processes run in small scale bioreactor system, e.g. Ambr15, Ambr250, RM, UniVessel

Perform cell passaging & expansion

Perform regular analytical measurements, at-line and as part of post-process analytics
-
Acquire needed certificates to perform regular lab tasks and handle required chemicals.

Support with administrative tasks and coordinate with relevant departments/ stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the lab work

Keep complete and accurate of lab task records
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in biology, bioengineering, biotechnology or similar

At least 3years of relevant experience in cell culture and biology

Experience in working with mammalian cells (under sterile, antibiotic-free conditions)

Experience with bioreactors would be an advantage.

Experience in following aspects would also considered plus: advanced therapies, nuclei acid research, and chromatography.

Language skills: English and Chinese. Read, understand and conduct lab activities according to manuals/SOPs in English.

Good team player and willing to collaborate with different stakeholders to achieve common goals

Accuracy and close attention to detail.
