SkinCeuticals Medical - Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- KOL Mapping & Management: Map, profile, and prioritize key regional medical KOLs (primarily in dermatology) to execute tailored academic communication plans.
- Build Peer-to-Peer Relationships: Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts.
- Support Clinical Development: Support clinical development initiatives, including site identification, trial recruitment, registry studies, and final approved data presentation.
- Co-develop Medical Projects: Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives, including scientific publications, advisory boards, medical education, and speaker development.
- Drive Practice Improvement: Communicate product formulations and scientific benefits to KOLs to improve clinical concepts and practices for patient and consumer benefit.
- Resolve Medical Inquiries: Actively collect and address unmet medical needs, academic inquiries, and clinical questions from external stakeholders.
- Internal Training & Insights: Deliver field-based clinical insights to inform medical strategy, and provide scientific training and support to internal teams (Marketing, Sales, and Training).
- Ensure Compliant Collaboration: Maintain effective and timely communication among internal stakeholders in full compliance with company regulations and policies.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of MSL activities.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree or above in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences (Dermatology background is highly preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of MSL experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or aesthetic industries; experience in dermatology or medical aesthetics is preferred.
- Core Competencies: Strong capability in scientific literature search, data analysis, and presentation; ability to translate complex science into clear clinical messaging.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills; highly resilient.
- Language: Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken), with professional competency in reading and translating scientific literature.
