Within this fast growing and developing business of Mercedes-Benz in China, the RDVT department is also continuously developing, with increasing local development activities and deeper localization demand, for CCSI1 team means we need to enhanced chassis system testing and release capabilities are also required. One important role is the EPS System Release and Chassis EE Functional Safety Manager
This means you will:
Define EPS release strategy in order to fulfill overall vehicle EE readiness
Be responsible for the overall EPS (Electric Power Steering) System Release
Leading a cross-functional project team (Steering BTV, Functional Safety Expert, Ride&Handling, NVH and suppliers) to accomplish EPS system release activities
Be responsible for ADAS interface testing and validation
Continuous improvement of EPS release process in China
Be responsible for Impact Analysis to ensure local chassis systems is compliance with functional safety standards throughout the development phase.
As local window person to align with Functional Safety team in HQ
Lead local authority Functional Safety Audit (GB17675) for all local vehicle projects
