Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing HSE requirements for the project;
- Ensure compliance with Company’s HSE Policies;
- Establish, maintain and implement the project's HSE Plan - be the owner of this Plan;
- Supervise contractors’ implementation of the HSE Plan and verify that contractors are complying with HSE requirements;
- Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and reporting in contracts & purchase orders;
- Maintain project's HSE statistics and report to Client and the Production Management in accordance with contract requirements;
- Provide advice and assistance to Project Manager and other project team members on HSE matters;
- Liaise with clients on matters pertaining to HSE implementation and performance of the project;
- Serve as interface between Company and third parties on HSE matters;
- Initiate the establishment of project specific procedures, as necessary;
- Develop HSE induction and training programs as required;
- Promote HSE awareness and understanding of HSE requirements throughout the project;
- Serves as member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) between Company, Shipyard, Fabrication Yards, Client and third parties;
- QHSSE: Employees are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of themselves and others while actively protecting and properly utilizing all company-provided welfare and safety equipment. Additionally, they must promptly report any quality issues or HSSE hazards to the QHSSE department, while actively participating in and promoting the company’s continuous improvement processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Science/Engineering with a minimum of 10 years project experience.
- Knowledge in HSE / Quality related standards.
- Minimum 7 years of offshore project experience is required.
- 10 years project experience in HSE leadership role.
