Molex is seeking a technically strong and experienced Sourcing Engineer with a background in optical communications to join our China-based team. This role focuses on managing strategic suppliers, supporting NPI sourcing, and driving supply chain performance across photonic and optoelectronic components. Fluency in both Mandarin and English is essential for coordination with global teams.

- 支持供应商审核,认证和持续绩效评估
- 跟踪并汇报采购绩效指标(成本节约,交付,质量等)
- 作为中英双语沟通桥梁,与海外研发和采购团队协作推进项目

- Develop and manage suppliers for optical communication components, including but not limited to:
- Lasers (DFB / EML) and laser assemblies (TOSA)
- Detectors (PD / APD) and receiver assemblies (ROSA)
- Micro-optics, isolators, filters, AWGs, etc.
- Silicon photonic chips
- Lead sourcing strategy and supplier engagement during New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Negotiate pricing, lead time, and commercial terms; establish framework agreements and drive cost optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to support product requirements
- Support supplier audits, qualification, and ongoing performance management
- Track and report sourcing KPIs (cost savings, delivery, quality)
- Act as a bilingual interface between China suppliers and overseas R&D / sourcing teams
任职资格 / Qualifications
中文
- 光学工程,物理,材料,电子工程等相关专业本科及以上学历
- 毕业于中国高水平大学( 985 / 211 院校优先)
- 至少 5 年光通信或相关行业(光模块,光器件,光学元件)采购或供应链经验
- 熟悉光子器件,激光器封装,光学元件制造或测试流程
- 具备优秀的供应商管理能力,成本分析与谈判技巧
- 中英文流利,能够进行技术与商务双语沟通
- 良好的沟通能力,项目管理能力和团队合作精神
- 能适应出差(国内为主,必要时海外)
English
- Bachelor's degree or above in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Graduated from a top-tier Chinese university (985 / 211 preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing or supply chain experience in optical communications or related industries
- Familiarity with photonic devices, laser packaging, and optical component manufacturing or testing
- Strong supplier management, cost analysis, and negotiation skills
- Fluent in Mandarin and English for both technical and commercial discussions
- Strong communication, project management, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel (primarily domestic, international as needed)
