You support our team as
- APAC Regional Commodity Head
- Achieve procurement targets in Commodity Management and APAC region.
- Functional management and leadership of regional commodity organization
- Own and shape overall regional commodity strategy in accordance with Global Commodity, Vibracoustic and BU Strategy.
- Assure compliance according to Game Rules, signature directives and VC standards.
- Bridge between regional business needs and global strategy & standards.
- Lead regional commodity specific strategic initiatives.
- Steer Risk Management (supplier financials, geopolitical, capacity) with mitigation strategies.
- Own market intelligence for the region (new markets, index trends, risks, opportunities)
- Strategic partner to Program Purchasing, Supplier Development, BU and Sales.
- Lead process optimization for SCM- and Commodity related processes.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities to influence cross-functional and regional decision-making
- Dipl. Ing. Oec. (U, TU) University / Technical University or Bachelor in technical or commercial degree or comparable.
- Purchasing Manager (3 years)/Commodity Manager (3 years)/ Project Buyer (5 years)
- In total 5 years experience in automotive industry
- Strategic thinking and strategy implementation
- Communications skills
- Technical know how in main commodities of VC ( e.g. Compounds, stampings, aluminum die casting, tubes, extrusions …)
- Project Management skills
- Negotiation skills
- Professional English skills, Native Chinese speaker.
- SAP skills (MM)
- Intercultural skills
- Business skills
