The Sales Manager – Electronics (South China) is responsible for shaping and executing the business line strategy to drive revenue growth, increase market penetration, and ensure overall profitability (P&L) of the Electronics business line. The role focuses on developing and securing new and existing business opportunities across relevant market segments.
Together with the Global Head of Sales, the Sales Manager – Electronics (South China) builds and executes a detailed plan aligned with the Global Electronics strategy, and will:
- Develop and implement the country-level-specific sales strategy aligned with global business line goals and objectives.
- Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the region sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
- Drive new business development and expand market share by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Represent ELANTAS’s products and services with a comprehensive understanding to identify how solutions meet the needs of customers in the region.
- Stay informed on new products, services, and other information of interest to the market and potential customers..
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, assess the market landscape, and evaluate competitive offerings to define requirements.
- Analyze sales metrics and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and present sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales processes and CRM systems to track performance and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in sales contracts and channel partner agreements.
- Assist the organization in creating a safe and healthy working environment by working safely, using provided equipment, and following health and safety instructions.
